Blood Orange Champagne Mule Recipe
So I made us this delightful cocktail. This is Moscow Mule, but with the addition of champagne and a blood orange substitute. And yes, this is really as great as the sound. And it's easy too, which is a must on New Year's Eve. Initially, I had another drink in mind for posting today, but during Christmas my family continued to make Moscow Mules. They love them because they can be made easily and of course, they are really good.

Blood Orange Champagne Mule Recipe
Ingredients
  • 8 mint leaves
  • cold champagne for toppings
  • 1/2 juice of medium blood orange
  • 1/2 lime juice
  • 1 ounce of vodka
  • 2 ounces of cold ginger beer

Instructions
In a glass, mix blood orange juice, lime juice and vodka. Add ginger beer and cover with champagne. Garnish with blood orange slices and fresh mint.
