Ingredients
Cake
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup of cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 cup of semi-sweet or bitter chocolate chips (or each half)
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Layer
- 2/3 cups of high quality semi-sweet chips
- 3 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Cover 8 "round baking pan with baking paper and spray with non-stick spray. Set aside. Preheat oven to 375 °.
- Melt the butter in a large glass mixing bowl in the microwave. Add chocolate chips and let stand for 3-4 minutes. Stir until the chips have melted, add additional cooking time if needed. Let it cool for 5 minutes.
