This is the type of recipe that I live. Why? Because it is easy to make, requires little effort, and is a hot dish at my dinner table in 15 minutes.
I have some asparagus that needs to be cooked, but I have a feeling this dish will taste amazing with a side of pasta or, if you want to keep this low-carb food, with noodles (zucchini noodles). Maybe even sweet potato noodles are turned on!

Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp With Asparagus (Roasted Recipe)
Ingredient
Shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon shallot powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked peppers (or normal)
  • 1.5 lbs medium raw shrimp (peeled and split, tail-to-tail)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tsp of Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
Asparagus
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pound of asparagus
  • salt to taste
Clothes
  • 1/2 lemon (juiced)
  • 2 tablespoons parsley

Instructions
  1. Place a large non-stick skillet with butter over medium heat. After melting, add shrimp. Season with salt and pepper (to taste). Let it cook 1-2 minutes on one side.
  2. Add minced garlic, Italian herbs, onion powder and smoked peppers. Stir to combine and flip the shrimp to cook on the opposite side.
  3. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.
  4. Mix butter and olive oil in the same skillet. After the butter has melted, add the asparagus. Season with salt (to taste). Let it cook until the asparagus is soft. Around 4-6 minutes. The time will depend on how thick the asparagus is.
  5. Add the shrimp back to the pan. Squeeze half a lemon on the shrimp and asparagus. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Remove from the heat, garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
